How To Dye To Color For Guipure Lace
Nov 11, 2023
Different materials of guipure lace require different dyeing methods. Chemical lace is made of cotton, polyester, milky white yarn, rayon and other materials.
For cotton materials, it can be dyed at low temperature. After dyeing, since some customers have special requirements for the feel, we can add some chemicals to make the lace softer. Usually this kind of lace is used on lingerie or lingerie. It must be soft enough to make direct contact with the skin.

For polyester yarn and milky white yarn, they are actually the same material and we use the same method to dye them. They are first ironed on a high-temperature iron to set their shape, and then dyed in boiling coloring water. You can see that for the polyester material, we dye it with high temperature from beginning to end. Because the material is harder, it is not easily deformed. If there are wrinkles when folded, it will be difficult to deform. Back to normal.

For embroidery lace made of cotton and nylon mesh materials, since the embroidery part is made of different materials than the nylon mesh below, we need to dye it twice. If it is white, such as off-white or bleached white, it is cheaper. If it is dark color like black, blue, red, etc., the price will be very expensive.
